I designed and drew characters and backgrounds for the game, and developed the main artstyle.

-Upstairs Apartment Hallway, Lights on version

-Empty Main Character’s Apartment
-Character Apartment, belonging to 2 side characters
-Abandoned Apartment, blood drips from fridge, dragging marks on the floor.
-Train station spawn location, must have movement instructions
-Local advertisement Poster, also used as game cover
-Side-character designs.

I was a participant in the Global Game Jam Groningen 2025, with my team, Mean Girls Studio

Constraints:

Time – 48 hours
Location – On-site
Instructions – GameJam theme: Bubble, Character designs from fellow teammates
Audience – GameJam judges (specifically in the “Cozy” category), GameJam attendees, ages 18-50.

Below are featured the game’s title screen logo, made in under 20 minutes due to time constraints (left), and the vertical scroller background for the racing section of the game (right).
The vertical scroller had to be chopped up a few times, due to the nature of a vertical scroller image. The original ratio was 1:20


A large character hosting website appoints one community artist to design a character based off a communal moodboard, whenever this type of event is active. This artist was me.

Date: March 1-9th 2025

Time – 1 week (for all images total)

Instructions – Moodboard of approx. 9 images.
Audience – Characterhub users

Requirements – Clean character reference, Scene pieces, Illustrations of personality and character habits.


I designed characters referenced off real-life actors featured in the Efteling’s trailers. I also designed 2D assets including posters and the artstyle for the final game.

I was in charge of designing a mascot for a Theme park in Germany, going through many iterations to fit their vision.

Date: Spring 2022

Constraints:
Time – ~1 month
Location – Remote
Instructions – The theme park is based on a green apple farm, and aimed largely towards children.
Audience – Park visitors
Client – Theme park
Programs Used – Clip Studio Paint
Communication – communication was done through a middle-man, as said middle man had gotten me the job. I communicated with the middle-man through Whatsapp, and he reached the park by e-mail.

Requirement:
A cartoon green Apple farmer mascot, a clean reference and a sticker design.
