I designed multiple cultures for my world, Ika, to enrich the world and represent a wide array of cultures, even in a fictional sense.

Ilanga is a Religion centered around the Sun, Moon, Clouds and Stars. The culture segregates people into four worship groups based on who the person feels drawn to most, and features in depth gender roles and expectations based on the chosen group.

Ilanga has allowed for deeper character development for those within the religion, being able to provide both positives and negatives for characters within the culture based on how they choose to orient themselves.

Ikali

Ikali was based on the world its self, Ika. People in Ikali worship the large fish on which the world floats. Because of their subject of worship, the religion is very water-based, with cultural wear focused heavily around ease of surfing or scuba-diving.

Ikali has allowed the characters on Ika to gain development on how they view the world around and below them.
